If you want a variable to represent something besides a number, you must first give a type declaration that states what the type will be. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS Platelet count should be checked 15-60 minutes post-transfusion to determine effectiveness of platelet transfusion. Poor platelet count increments may be due to bleeding, fever, sepsis, splenomegaly or autoimmune thrombocytopenia. Results Immunohistochemistry Immunostaining for EGF and TGF- was observed in all 18 follicle-containing ovaries.
